I imagine that if you called the new consulting firm of Cheney, Cheney & Cheney and got put on hold, you’d hear the “Ghostbusters” theme:
“If there’s someone weak,
if you’ve sprung a leak,
if the world looks bleak,
if you hide and seek,
who ya gonna call?OBAMABUSTERS!”
Maureen Dowd – “Daisy Chain of Cheneys” – NYTimes.com.
Now that’s a lame opening even for a several hills past over-the-hill NYT columnist. I’m thinking it’s quite possible that in all the millions of pages fit to print in that paper’s long existence, those might very well be the lamest lines ever written for pay there… possibly the lamest lines ever published there. Really.
Seriously, if I were one of her friends, I’d be worried about her.

And to think that I’ve discarded rhyming insipidities because they failed to exceed my strict limbo low standards.
From now on everything that doesn’t make the cut for ZC goes to the NYT. Anybody know the private email address of the Publisher?
